Gary Barbera Cares is the charitable foundation associated with Gary Barbera’s Autoland in metro Philadelphia. Guided by the principles “Support, Enhance, and Inspire,” the foundation assists individuals, children, families, youth organizations, churches, and synagogues across the region, with charitable work also extending into Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Its community efforts include delivering thousands of turkeys and winter coats to underserved neighborhoods, supporting youth groups and the Philadelphia Police Athletic League, and honoring veterans.
The organization has also promoted road safety through “Don’t Text and Drive” and “Keep the Boulevard Safe” campaigns, participated in highway cleanups, and helped expand the use of solar recycling cans around the city. The Barbera Bear mascot appears at community cleanups, parades, and local events. Gary Barbera’s Autoland, the foundation’s automotive partner, sells new and pre-owned Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, and Jeep vehicles, as well as certified pre-owned vehicles.
It also offers on-site auto credit through Philadelphia’s Credit Connection. The brand presents hospitality, family values, and community service as central to its identity
