Barber Bros. Meat & Provisions is a neighborhood butcher shop and market located at 101 Ocean Street in South Portland, ME. Co-owned by brothers Jack and Max Barber, the shop honors the legacy of the area and is set to open in the fall of 2023.
The Barbers, with a family history rooted in the food industry, aim to bring new and local products to the space, building on the 83-year legacy left by Smaha's and Legion Square Market. The shop will offer a wide range of locally sourced meats, including beef, pork, chicken, lamb, sausages, deli items, prepared foods, cheeses, bread, pantry items, and fresh produce from local farms.
