Barcelona Capital Nàutica is a foundation dedicated to promoting sailing, maritime culture, and ocean sustainability in Barcelona and Catalonia. The foundation supports and co-organizes regattas, including the Solo Med for Mini 6.50 boats, university radio-controlled sailing projects, and adapted sailing events such as the Kakapo Open Race. It has also facilitated major competitions, including Barcelona’s hosting of the 37th America’s Cup in 2024, and contributed to events for young sailors and international sailing classes.
