Barclay-Smith

Abbeyfield Helensburgh, trading as Barclay-Smith Housing Support & Care at Home, has provided independent supported living for older people in Helensburgh and the surrounding area for more than 50 years. Its aim is to help residents enjoy independent living in the heart of Helensburgh, with support suited to their needs. Barclay-Smith House offers nine individual apartments within an elegant Edwardian property.

The building was originally four separate dwellings, and many rooms retain features that reflect its original character. For people who prefer to remain in their own homes, the organisation also provides Care at Home support. Following the granting of its Care at Home licence, Barclay-Smith can offer a tailored service for people who need assistance.
