Bardawil is a reputable brand that has been in operation since 1945. Founded by Philip H. Bardawil, the company initially traded a wide range of goods before specializing in machinery, equipment, and steel office furniture.

Following Philip's passing in 1948, Fouad P. Bardawil, William Habib Bardawil, and Labib Bardawil joined the business, leading it to expand into various Middle Eastern countries. In the 1960s, Bardawil ventured into the construction materials, specialized contracting services, and aviation equipment and services sectors.

Although the civil war in Lebanon in 1975 prompted the company to focus on foreign operations, it continued to thrive despite challenging circumstances. Throughout the years, Bardawil has initiated several new ventures and established legal entities in different territories to ensure flexibility and adaptability to changing environments. Notable milestones include the establishment of Al-Bahar & Bardawil Specialities in Kuwait, specialized contracting operations in Lebanon and Qatar, and the manufacturing of airport ground handling equipment and expanded metal products.

Today, Bardawil prides itself on its highly competent and dedicated workforce, with the fourth generation of family members now contributing to the business. With operations in the Middle East, the company has successfully navigated political and economic challenges, firmly establishing itself in Lebanon, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the UK.
