Barhuf

Barhuf Berlin is the hoof-care practice of Saskia Pfeiffer, a trained hoof orthopedist serving horses and their owners across Berlin and Brandenburg. Its work focuses on professional hoof care and supporting hoof health through a natural, barefoot approach. The practice offers hoof trimming and individualized attention, with time and breaks adapted to each horse’s needs.

Saskia’s approach is rooted in her own experience as a horse owner: after concerns were raised about her Haflinger’s hooves and shoeing, she sought a hoof orthopedist’s advice and later undertook formal training, eventually taking responsibility for her horse’s hoof care herself. Barhuf Berlin travels to clients throughout the service area; travel costs are charged separately, with details available in the price list. Existing clients may pay by invoice, while new clients are asked to pay in cash; EC card payment is also accepted.

With an emphasis on care, patience and the horse’s wellbeing, Barhuf Berlin provides a practical option for owners seeking barefoot-focused hoof care
