Barista Brothers, founded by the dynamic duo David and Matthew Gee, is a premier coffee training institution in Australia. With their extensive backgrounds in commerce and law, the brothers embarked on a journey to share their expertise in the world of coffee after a successful venture in children's television. Their passion for coffee led them to establish Barista Basics Coffee Academy, offering state-of-the-art training centers in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Barista Basics distinguishes itself by providing hands-on training using Italian espresso machines, focusing on practical skills rather than theoretical learning. They offer courses that cover essential aspects of coffee making, such as espresso preparation, milk texturing, and maintaining espresso equipment, ensuring students leave with actionable skills. Their commitment to quality training is underscored by their published book "bean there, drunk that…", which serves as a comprehensive guide to coffee.
As Australia’s go-to coffee school, Barista Brothers prides itself on professionalism, innovation, and fostering a deep passion for coffee among aspiring baristas.
