Barlick Fell Runners

Barlick Fell Runners is a welcoming running club based in Barnoldswick, bringing together people of all abilities and experience levels. The club supports runners who are new to the sport as well as those preparing for races, with opportunities to take part in fell, road and cross-country running. Its activities combine structured training, social runs and community events, creating an inclusive environment where members can improve their fitness, build confidence and enjoy running together.

Weekly sessions include Monday social runs across fell, trail and road terrain, usually covering four to six miles at a sociable pace. Tuesday training at Barlick Cricket Club includes coached speed, endurance and hill sessions, while a separate junior programme is available for children aged eight and over. Wednesday pub runs offer informal, gentle outings followed by time to socialise. The club also shares training schedules, race opportunities and race results, and welcomes non-members to its pub runs as a way to experience the club. Meeting details and route information are posted through its Facebook page.
