Barnboksinstitutet

The Swedish Institute for Children’s Books (Svenska Barnboksinstitutet) is a national centre dedicated to children’s and young adult literature. Based in Stockholm, it supports research, reading, and informed discussion about literature for younger audiences. Its work includes ongoing and completed research projects, research services, publications, and the journal Barnboken. The institute also administers research funding and offers scholarships, including travel grants.
