About Barnevernsforeldre
Organisasjonen for barnevernsforeldre, OBF, is an interest and support organization for parents who have, have had, or are at risk of having their children placed by child welfare services. We aim to be a source of support and information for parents who have children in the child welfare system or who have experiences with them. At OBF, we work towards co-creating a better child welfare system in collaboration with parents, authorities, and professionals at both the service and systemic levels.
We offer advice, information, and services relevant to parents in the child welfare system. Our services include support from like-minded individuals who have experienced similar situations and activities for parents. We also provide platforms for discussions and debates on various topics related to child welfare, such as upcoming events at Arendalsuka.
