Banco de Alimentos Rosario (BAR) is a social organization dedicated to making a triple impact: social, economic, and environmental. For the past 12 years, BAR has been recovering and redistributing food that is fit for consumption but cannot be sold to social organizations providing free meals in Rosario and surrounding areas. BAR collaborates with food industry partners who are committed to their mission, rescuing, classifying, and fractioning the food with the help of dedicated volunteers.

The food is safely stored in their warehouse and then delivered to beneficiary organizations offering free food services. BAR's impact is impressive, with over 130,000 kilograms of food delivered monthly, benefiting more than 260 organizations and reaching over 60,000 individuals. However, the demand is still high, with 600 organizations on the waiting list.

BAR is part of the Red Argentina de Bancos de Alimentos and a member of The Global Foodbanking Network, reinforcing their commitment to fighting hunger.
