The Barossa Vintage Festival is a community celebration of the Barossa region, bringing together its food, wine, traditions and lively local atmosphere. Described as a showcase of what the Barossa does best, the festival offers visitors a chance to explore the region’s rich history while enjoying experiences for wine lovers and those simply looking for a festive day out.
Festival activities include distinctive wine and food events, grape-stomping competitions, markets and live music set among vineyard surroundings. Its program also features events such as the Barossa Vintage Festival Parade, Ziegenmarkt, Scarecrows, the Vintage Parade After Party, Grapestomp Club, Vintage Barossa and the Barossa Big Sing. The festival also includes the Barossa Australia Young Ambassadors and community participation.
Combining regional heritage with entertainment, the event invites locals and visitors to make memories and celebrate what makes the Barossa special. The next Barossa Vintage Festival is scheduled for 21–25 April 2027. The festival acknowledges the Ngadjuri, Peramangk and Kaurna peoples and their ancestral connection to the land.
