BarrelFactory

The Barrel Factory is a historic destination in Buffalo’s Old First Ward, located near the Buffalo River at 65 Vandalia Street. Built in 1903, the multi-level brick building once housed Quaker City Cooperage Co., a manufacturer of wooden barrels, and later served several other local businesses. Today, the site brings together food, craft distilling, and flexible event spaces.

Barrel Factory Distilling offers a tasting room and factory store, distillery tours, and an event center. The Barrel Factory also welcomes guests to its restaurant, which is open Friday through Sunday evenings; the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. The venue hosts private celebrations and professional gatherings, including weddings, showers, corporate events, birthday parties, and anniversary celebrations. Its flexible spaces and dedicated team support both intimate gatherings and larger events, with inquiries welcomed for event planning. On weekdays, the venue is available to book for private events. Visitors can follow the Barrel Factory on social media, explore its calendar, or contact the events team to learn more about the space and its offerings.
