About Bartha Contemporary's
Bartha Contemporary is a renowned art gallery founded by Niklas and Daniela von Bartha in January 2000. With a focus on non-figurative and conceptual art, Bartha Contemporary showcases the works of contemporary artists. What started as a basement operation in South Kensington quickly gained recognition for its meticulously curated program.
In 2003, Bartha Contemporary moved to a unique space on Lancaster Road in Notting Hill, above the famous Alistair Little Restaurant. The gallery's reputation grew further as it participated in international art fairs from 2005 onwards, enhancing its global presence. Over the years, Bartha Contemporary has undergone several expansions, establishing private venues in London St.
James and relocating to Margaret Street in vibrant Fitzrovia. In 2021, the gallery found its current home in Ledbury Mews North, Notting Hill, a beautifully renovated former photography studio with an impressive infinity curve on its far wall. Bartha Contemporary offers a serene and engaging setting for art lovers and collectors to explore thought-provoking installations and experience contemporary culture at its finest
