Barther Seglerverein

Barther Seglerverein e.V. is a small, welcoming sailing club with a long tradition in northwestern Vorpommern, Germany. Located on the western side of Barth’s town harbor, the club provides a base for local sailors and visiting boaters. Its harbor facilities include 40 berths at the pier, fixed jetty and floating jetty, with up to 10 guest berths typically available during the sailing season. Berths are equipped with water and electricity connections.

The club’s waterside grounds are also used for training camps, allowing participants to sail directly in front of the property. Its activities and resources include a youth group, information about the local sailing area, club documents and event updates, including results and notices for the Barth City Championship. The website also lists the Baltic Water Sport School project and a youth and leisure center, which is currently closed for technical reasons. Barther Seglerverein serves as both a sailing community and a practical harbor destination, combining club life, training opportunities and guest facilities.
