Barton Junior Football Club is a community-based, voluntary and self-financing organisation serving boys and girls aged 4 to 17 in Barton upon Humber, North Lincolnshire. Based at Pasture Road Playing Fields, the club has operated for more than 30 years and competes in local junior football leagues and cup competitions. It was the first football team in its area to achieve the Football Association Charter Standard, a distinction the club values highly.
The club offers age-group teams for boys and girls, regular training and opportunities to take part in league and cup matches. Its facilities include secure changing rooms, floodlit training areas and toilets. The club says its staff have background checks, approved coaching badges and first-aid qualifications, and it publishes safeguarding, equality, health and safety, and conduct policies for players, coaches, parents and spectators.
At the end of each season, players who have trained and played receive a club trophy at a presentation event.
