About BAS
The Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS) is the central body for promoting and developing basketball across Singapore. It aims to inspire and unite the nation through the sport, supporting a community that includes players, coaches and enthusiasts. BAS oversees national teams and development pathways, including youth programmes such as the National Youth Development Programme (NYDP), and shares team rosters, fixtures and results.
Its competitions span the National Basketball League, Women’s National Basketball League, youth, masters and community basketball. The association also supports the sport through coaching and officiating courses, medical and first-aid training, talent identification, player registration and accreditation. For aspiring athletes and coaches, BAS provides technical and high-performance pathways, resources and development opportunities.
Fans can follow news and games, including live coverage and match content on the association’s YouTube channel. BAS also offers court bookings at the Singapore Basketball Centre for training, tournaments, corporate events and friendly matches, subject to facility availability.
