Base14 is an award-winning design company based in Los Angeles, CA. Specializing in film, animation, comics, web development, and fashion, Base14 offers a wide range of creative services. With a rich and interesting history, the company was founded in 2002 by Tyler J.
Kupferer and his sister, Alysha Kupferer. Originally known as Basement Productions, the company quickly realized the need for a unique name that would set them apart. Combining the word base with Tyler's favorite number, seven, they became Base14 Productions.
Over the years, Base14 has expanded its offerings to include animation, web design, music mixing, and print design. Notable projects include the comic strip Rightfield, the animated films Duck Heart Teslacoil and The Girl and the Fox, and their latest project, Rain Dance. With a focus on film and animation, Base14 continues to captivate audiences around the world and nurture emerging talent in the industry
