About Hrvatski baseball savez
The Croatian Baseball Federation, established in 1986, has been instrumental in popularizing baseball in Croatia since its introduction by American sailors in Split in December 1918. The first official club, Nada Split, was founded in 1975, heralding a new era for the sport in the country. The federation oversees national competitions and enables the growth of local clubs like Blue Wolves Zagreb, Olimpija Karlovac, and Storks Sisak.
Croatia's senior national team made its European Championship debut in 1999 and has participated in every subsequent tournament. The federation also supports youth development through initiatives like free baseball camps for children and participation in various age group competitions, including U12 and U18 categories. Moreover, the federation celebrates Croatian heritage within Major League Baseball through special events.
With a commitment to fostering talent and nurturing a strong baseball community, the Croatian Baseball Federation aims to elevate the sport both nationally and in the European arena
