Baseball Ireland is the recognized National Governing Body of Baseball in Ireland. For adult players, Baseball Ireland provides opportunities for competitive play with their Adult League. This league, which formed in 1996, consists of ten teams located in Dublin, Belfast, and Greystones. The league has grown in popularity, thanks to the assistance of visiting coaches from Major League Baseball International.

Baseball Ireland also places a strong emphasis on youth development. Their Youth Baseball program, also known as Little League, received a significant boost in 1992 when the Philadelphia Greensox visited Ireland. Since then, more teams have been created, and expert coaching has been introduced, making the youth program more structured and comprehensive.

To support their activities, Baseball Ireland has a state-of-the-art National Baseball Facility, located in Clondalkin, West Dublin. This purpose-built facility, featuring both an adult field and a Little League field, serves as the focal point of baseball activities in Ireland.
