Baseball Libre

Baseball Libre is a ministry working to support underserved youth baseball leagues in Latin America. Its purpose is to bring communities together through a shared love of baseball and help more children enjoy the game. The organization provides equipment and other resources, supports coaching, and helps restore baseball fields. Its central focus is getting equipment to youth leagues so players can take part with the supplies they need.

Baseball Libre also seeks to raise awareness of the value of giving back and the ways community support can make a difference in children’s lives. The organization approaches its work with respect for the cultures of Latin America, focusing on practical support for local youth leagues rather than changing the communities they serve. It sees baseball as common ground between people in the United States and Latin America, and as a way to build connection and encourage shared humanity. Supporters can get involved in the cause, follow the organization’s progress through its newsletter, and help build baseball programs across the region.
