Baseline Mapping is a New Zealand farm-mapping service that creates practical maps based on the fences and paddocks on the ground, rather than relying solely on title diagrams. Working remotely from imagery and clients’ records, the business maps farms throughout the country with no travel charges. Its maps identify and measure paddocks, record features such as fences, tracks, lanes, waterways and visible infrastructure, and provide files owners can keep and use.

Three fixed-price packages are available, starting at $750 plus GST. Baseline includes a farm map, paddock names and gross areas, mapped data and an area spreadsheet. Baseline Plus adds agreed, itemised deductions and effective areas to support planning. Baseline Forever adds a private interactive online map, a live schedule and dashboard, and annual map-update time while subscribed. Deliverables include PDFs and mapped data in GeoPackage, shapefile and KML formats. Every package includes six months of revisions within the agreed scope. Optional services include elevation and contour maps, terrain analysis and a Farm Plan Data Pack.
