Basketball Ireland

Basketball Ireland is the national organisation for basketball across the island of Ireland, supporting the sport through competitions, club services, development programmes and community participation. Its website brings together information for players, coaches, officials, clubs, schools and fans, including fixtures, results, league tables, national cup brackets and competition updates. The organisation covers domestic and international basketball, with resources for men’s, women’s and 3x3 squads, as well as schools, college basketball, masters and wheelchair basketball.

Basketball Ireland offers pathways to get involved at every level, from finding a local club and registering for the season to coaching, refereeing, table officiating and social basketball. Its programmes include the Basketball Ireland Academy, player pathway initiatives, the Jr. NBA and Women in Sport. Clubs can access registration guidance, rules, insurance information and learning resources, while coaches can explore courses through its online learning platform. Fans can follow news and watch content through BITV, purchase tickets and shop online. Basketball Ireland also provides safeguarding, inclusion, anti-doping and accessibility information.
