BASMA Association is a nationwide volunteer-powered NGO that is dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families in Syria. The association aims to improve the health and social conditions of these children by providing them with psychological and moral support during their treatment period, as well as financial assistance to cover the cost of treatment. BASMA offers various programs to fulfill their mission, including their first specialized unit, which provides diagnosis and treatment for children with cancer.

They also provide financial support for treatment in specialized centers, accommodation for families coming for treatment, and necessary medicines not available in public cancer centers. Additionally, BASMA organizes regular awareness sessions for both families and the community to educate them about childhood cancer and its early detection. Through their volunteer activities, BASMA visits children in hospitals, conducts entertainment programs, and distributes gifts to bring smiles to the faces of these young warriors.
