Basquete Unifacisa is a professional basketball club based in Campina Grande, Paraíba, and the state’s sole representative in Brazil’s top national basketball competition. Founded in 2012 and inspired by major NBA clubs, particularly the Boston Celtics, the team has become a prominent force in Brazilian and northeastern basketball. In 2019, it won the Liga Ouro and earned promotion to the NBB, adding to a record that includes regional and state titles.
The club trains at Arena Unifacisa, a purpose-built facility featuring athlete changing rooms, a gym, a running track, and a court surface approved by the Brazilian Basketball Confederation. Fans can follow the team through match coverage, official broadcasts, news, interviews, behind-the-scenes features, and game information, as well as attend games and enjoy in-arena activities. Unifacisa also supports youth basketball through its association with the NBA Basketball School, which shares basketball teaching methods with children and young people. Its social responsibility initiatives and community collaborations extend the club’s work beyond the court, helping strengthen basketball culture in Campina Grande and across Paraíba.
