Bass Life Associates

Bass Life Associates is dedicated to strengthening fisheries and outdoor communities across Northwest Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex, where it has worked since 1993. The organization brings anglers, families, wildlife partners, schools, local businesses, sponsors and volunteers together to support healthy waters and encourage lasting connections to fishing.

Its programs create opportunities for young people to learn, compete, build character and develop fishing skills. Bass Life Associates also supports aquatic education, teaching fish care, conservation, stewardship and the science behind healthy aquatic ecosystems. Fisheries work includes fish stocking, hatchery support, habitat improvement and equipment for local projects, alongside boating safety education for anglers and families.

Through its Replica Bass Program, the organization encourages catch-and-release of qualifying trophy bass caught in eligible Northwest Louisiana waters. Eligible anglers may receive replica support based on fish size, subject to documentation, funding and other requirements; they should contact Bass Life Associates before submitting a fish. Community support helps sustain these education, conservation and youth initiatives throughout the region.
