Basta Spirit is a Uruguayan company specializing in the production and development of premium beverage brands. Founded in 2018, Basta Spirit is led by three directors: Álvaro Aniano (bartender), Juan Andrés Marichal (oenologist), and Salvador Banchero (communicator). Their mission is to create high-quality products based on the study of ancient traditions and the latest consumption trends and cultures in the world of spirits.

One of their flagship products is Rosa Negra, a super-premium spirit made from grapes and honey (Grappamiel) in the natural environment of vineyards. Using Tannat grape pomace and a double distillation process in old wood-fired stills, it is then blended with natural prairie honey. Rosa Negra has been awarded a Silver Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021.

Another exceptional product from Basta Spirit is Rosa Negra Café, a super-premium liquor made from a blend of specialty coffee beans from Ethiopia and Brazil, natural prairie honey, and Tannat grappa. The slow cold infusion process brings together freshly roasted coffee beans and the liquor, resulting in a unique coffee spirit. Rosa Negra Café was awarded a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2021.

Additionally, Basta Spirit offers Vermut Flores, a vermouth based on the iconic Uruguayan Tannat wine. Made in small batches in the natural vineyard environment, Vermut Flores incorporates a selection of 27 botanicals, including flowers like hops, chamomile, rose, and elderflower. Vermut Flores Rosado received a Silver Medal, and Vermut Flores Rojo earned a Gold Medal at the International Wine Challenge in London 2021.
