Its activities focus on building connections among members, supporting shared interests, and creating opportunities for sport, training, and community involvement. The association provides information for members and prospective applicants on membership, its statutes, and firearm permits, including guidance on the application process and authorization to possess firearms.

BASTION organizes shooting competitions and training activities, including the annual Uniformed Services Shooting Tournament, which has featured competitors from across Poland and events using firearms made in Poland. It also hosts family shooting picnics, where participants can learn about uniforms and equipment and try supervised shooting with qualified instructors. Beyond shooting, the association supports the OrientAkcja bicycle orienteering rally, offering members a discount on entry, and takes part in charitable events. Its website shares event announcements, schedules, regulations, reports, and member offers, as well as information about collections and association patches.
