Bathysia is an innovative, free deep-sea exploration game that immerses players in the mysteries of the ocean through their web browser, requiring no downloads. With the ability to pilot a drone into uncharted waters, players can discover and document marine life, shipwrecks, and crystal fields. The unique gameplay involves manually piloting the drone, providing a hands-on experience rather than simple clicks. Players can explore five different zones, reaching depths of up to 2,790 meters, while aiming to identify and record up to 81 planned species.

The game features three distinct machine classes – the Scout for fast exploration, the Hauler for transporting significant finds, and the Salvager for uncovering hidden treasures. Each class retains modularity, allowing customization under one hull design. As players chart their findings, they receive ongoing rewards from Fleet Dispatch, ensuring continuous engagement.
