About Batseta
Batseta is a non-profit organization that focuses on the interests of principal officers, trustees, and fund fiduciaries in the retirement industry. Managed by its own appointed Board of Directors, Batseta is dedicated to creating an open and fair environment for its members to practice with confidence and thrive within. As a South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) Registered Professional Body, Batseta is committed to providing professional development and support for retirement fund principal officers and trustees.
They are also an Assessment Quality Partner (AQP) or examining body for the principal officers and trustees' occupational qualifications. The name Batseta means advisory council in Sepedi, reflecting their core focus on advising and supporting their members. With a diverse board of trustees, Batseta aims to foster inclusivity, unity, and prosperity within the retirement industry.
