Jersey Battle of Flowers is a community-led event presented by the Jersey Battle of Flowers Association and managed by Jersey Battle of Flowers (Parades) Limited. Held on Victoria Avenue, the annual celebration brings together parish teams, community groups and volunteers, who spend months designing and building elaborate floats decorated with thousands of carefully placed flowers. The 2027 event is scheduled for 13 and 14 August, subject to the Bailiff’s permission, and features two parades: the Grand Day Parade, the main event, and the illuminated Moonlight Parade.
Visitors can also enjoy exhibits, live performances, pre-parade entertainment and food stalls along the seafront. Entry to the parade is free, with no paid seating; spectators can watch from the pavement and bring their own folding chairs. The organisation offers ways to support the event through sponsorship, fundraising and volunteering, and shares event information, parade maps, awards, galleries and updates through its website and social media.
