Bauhaus Brew Labs is a unique brand that combines their love for beer with creativity and adventure. Made up of a family of beer enthusiasts, musicians, scientists, and artists, their aim is to revive the spirit of the family brewery. Bauhaus takes a fresh approach to classic German-inspired beer styles, infusing them with a sense of play and exploration.
Their sessionable, flavor-forward beers are carefully crafted to surprise and delight the palate without overwhelming it. At Bauhaus Brew Labs, they embrace the Bauhaus concept of celebrating the joy of art and craft as part of everyday life. The Bauhaus School, one of the world's most renowned art and design schools, is a constant source of inspiration for the brand.
Just like the Bauhaus movement, Bauhaus Brew Labs believes that work, play, and celebration should intertwine. Located in an industrial warehouse on Tyler Street, Bauhaus Brew Labs has a rich history. The building was once home to Crown Iron Works, which played a significant role in Minneapolis' development.
From building skyscrapers to producing metal decking and fittings for pontoon bridges, Crown Iron Works left an indelible mark on the city. Now, Bauhaus Brew Labs has taken up residence in this historic space, infusing it with their own creative energy.
