Natur im Garten is an Austrian initiative dedicated to natural, ecological gardening, a mission it has pursued since 1999. It helps individuals, professionals, municipalities and educators create and care for greener spaces through practical advice, information and learning opportunities. Its resources for garden enthusiasts include gardening guidance, brochures, articles, a magazine, podcast, blog, videos and events.

For municipalities and professionals, the initiative offers consultation, training and support for planning, designing and maintaining green spaces, as well as information about funding, competitions and awards. It also provides garden education for teachers and children, with training, teaching methods and school and kindergarten programs. A distinctive offering is its tree-gifting service: customers can choose from a selection of trees valued for their ecological benefits and arrange delivery to the recipient.

If the recipient cannot plant the tree, it can be donated for planting on a site in Lower Austria. Tree donors are invited to attend an October planting event
