Baumhaus Kameliden is a family-run alpaca and llama experience in Herzhausen, Dautphetal, Germany. Since 2020, the family has welcomed guests to discover everyday life with its gentle camelids in a personal, welcoming setting. The herd includes Suri and Huacaya alpacas and Classic llamas, cared for with a strong commitment to appropriate animal husbandry.
Visitors can choose from activities for couples, families, friends, and colleagues, including shared walks with the animals and relaxed time on the pasture. The team can also create a customized program to suit a group or occasion. For children aged six and older, activities include birthday celebrations, school visits, holiday programs, the Kameliden Cup, Schatz der Kameliden, and the Kameliden Führerschein. Gift vouchers are available for experiences, and visitors can also support an individual animal through a sponsorship.
The experience is shaped by the owners’ backgrounds in social work, education, biology, and zoology. Baumhaus Kameliden combines close encounters with animals and time outdoors, inviting guests to learn about and enjoy life alongside its herd.
