Bay Horse Equine laundry & repair services

Bay Horse Equine Laundry & Repairs is a specialist equine care business based in Lancashire, serving customers across the North West of England. Established in 2010, the business draws on more than 20 years of experience and was founded by lifelong horse owners who began by caring for their own rugs. It now provides professional laundry, waterproofing and repair services for individual horse and pony owners, racing yards, stud farms and commercial livery yards.

The team washes and reproofs horse rugs and other suitable items using Nikwax products, then air-dries them in a purpose-built drying room. Repairs are completed with specialist industrial sewing equipment and may include replacing straps, buckles, rings and fasteners. Items are assessed, and customers are advised if a repair is not cost-effective. Bay Horse also welcomes enquiries about bespoke projects beyond routine rug care.

For convenience, the business offers collection and delivery across the region, along with several drop-off and collection points in areas including Lancaster, Kendal and Preston.
