Die Bayerische Ingenieurekammer-Bau ist die Berufsvertretung der bayerischen Ingenieure aus Bauwesen und Bauwirtschaft, Freien Berufen und öffentlichem Dienst im Freistaat Bayern. Als Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts vertreten wir die Interessen unserer rund 7700 Mitglieder in Politik, Wirtschaft, Verwaltung und Öffentlichkeit. Aufsichtsbehörde ist das Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wohnen, Bau und Verkehr. Unsere Mitglieder sind Beratende Ingenieure als Pflichtmitglieder sowie freiberuflich tätige, angestellte, beamtete und gewerblich tätige Ingenieure als freiwillige Mitglieder. Als Dienstleister für unsere Mitglieder bieten wir ein umfassendes Informations- und Serviceangebot. Mit der Ingenieurakademie Bayern tragen wir aktiv und umfassend zur Fort- und Weiterbildung bei. Außerdem ist die Bayerische Ingenieurekammer-Bau zuständige Stelle für die Berufsanerkennung von Ingenieuren und Kontrollstelle gemäß GEG (Stichprobenkontrollen von Energieausweisen und Inspektionsberichten über Klimaanlagen).
