Bay Road Nursery, established in the 1970s in Sandringham, Victoria, has emerged as a leading garden center well-regarded throughout Australia. Founded by David and Gillian Howard, the nursery has gained a reputation for its quality plants, stylish homeware, and unique gift items. David's initial passion for horticulture blossomed from his first job in a production nursery, leading him to acquire Bay Road Nursery in 1991, where he has since nurtured its growth.
In addition to the nursery, the popular Bay Road Café was opened, providing a delightful dining experience amidst lush greenery. Under the direction of Janine Smith and her daughter, the café enhances the picturesque setting with its diverse menu.
Bay Road Nursery continues to evolve, collaborating with Semkens Landscaping to introduce The Bay Road Gardener, a service designed to help customers create beautiful outdoor spaces. With new branding and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Bay Road Nursery remains a beloved destination for gardening enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
