Bayside Church of Woodland, located in Woodland, CA, is a vibrant and welcoming community rooted in evangelical Christianity. Our journey began in 2003 as The Gathering, meeting in the homes of our dedicated members. Under the leadership of founding pastor John Withem, we experienced remarkable growth and eventually secured a partnership with the Woodland School District, renting space at Pioneer High School, where we continue to gather today.

In 2006, we officially joined the Bayside Family of Churches, becoming Bayside Church of Woodland and aligning ourselves with 10 sister churches in the greater Sacramento region. Though our partnership has evolved over time, we still collaborate on mission efforts and other strategic initiatives. Our roots are firmly tied to the vision and passion of Pastor John, who bravely battled stage 4 liver cancer before his passing in 2012.

In 2014, Pastor Cory Johnson and his family joined as our new lead pastor, bringing with them a fervent desire to reach the lost and nurture disciples within the body of Christ. With Pastor Cory's guidance, Bayside Woodland enters a new season of ministry, filled with hope and growth. We are excited to see how God will continue to bless our community.
