About Bay View Charters SGI
Bay View Charters of SGI offers customized fishing and boating trips from St. George Island, Florida, led by Captain Wes McCall, an experienced fisherman and USCG-licensed captain. Guests travel aboard a 26-foot Twin Vee Ocean Cat, powered by twin 140 Suzuki motors and equipped with modern electronics and safety gear. The boat accommodates up to six people, and fishing trips include rods, reels, tackle, bait, fishing licenses, and bottled water.
Charters range from offshore fishing in Gulf state or federal waters to trips in Apalachicola Bay and nearby Gulf waters. Depending on the location, anglers can target species such as snapper, grouper, king and Spanish mackerel, cobia, amberjack, red and black drum, trout, flounder, tripletail, and sheepshead. The company also offers shelling trips to Little St. George Island and St. Vincent Island, as well as family adventures combining fishing, island exploration, shelling, and opportunities to see dolphins. Trips can be tailored to guests’ interests. Bay View Charters is based at 423 North Sawyer Street on St. George Island.
