Bazaar Boxtel

Bazaar Boxtel is a free, volunteer-supported multicultural festival in Boxtel, the Netherlands, dedicated to bringing people together and fostering understanding across cultures and communities. First held in 2002 as the Selissenbazaar, the event has grown from a small neighborhood gathering into a festival in Molenwijkpark, attracting thousands of visitors. Its welcoming atmosphere is shaped by music, dance, workshops, food and drink from around the world, and market stalls that showcase different cultural backgrounds. Visitors are encouraged to connect and enjoy the festival together.

Bazaar Boxtel also invites stallholders to apply to offer food, goods or charitable and community-focused activities, subject to approval. Volunteers help organize and run the event, taking on roles such as setting up the grounds, welcoming performers, and supporting visitors and festival operations. The festival is usually held on a Sunday between June and July. The next edition is planned for 11 July 2027 at Molenwijk 2 in Boxtel; there will be no edition in 2026 because of a shortage of volunteers.
