Ogólnopolska Baza Kolejowa is a long-running Polish online reference dedicated to the country’s railway network and its history. Described as Poland’s oldest and most extensive railway information database, it catalogs railway lines, stations, stops, signal boxes, and other railway sites, including locations that are no longer in operation. Each record can bring together information about an object’s present condition and historical background, helping visitors explore how the network has changed over time.

The site also offers extensive photo galleries, railway maps, timetable collections, and a digital library of historical documents. Users can browse and search for railway locations, including by current or former station names, and consult map tools and additional reference materials. Registered members have access to features such as enhanced map layers, photo rating and filtering, and a personal travel log for recording routes taken and stations visited. Community contributions help expand the database, although photo submissions may be subject to editorial review and are temporarily suspended according to the site’s latest notice.
