Bažantí farma

Borkovany Pheasant Farm, operated by the family-owned company Colchicus s.r.o., is a private pheasant breeding farm in Borkovany, near Brno in the Czech Republic. Its breeding experience dates to 1976, and the farm began operating at its current site in 2006. Expanded facilities now provide capacity to raise up to 40,000 young pheasants. The farm’s birds hatch in Moravia and come from established Czech breeding flocks. The company emphasizes health care and space for movement, raising birds from day-old chicks and monitoring their health throughout production.

Customers can choose pheasants at different ages, most commonly six to seven weeks, as well as 10-week, 14-week and 18-week-old birds. Older birds are described as more resilient and, from 18 weeks, nearly fully coloured and ready for release or hunting. The farm serves customers seeking birds for further rearing or those without the facilities to raise them. It also offers export arrangements and works with customers to coordinate delivery. Inquiries and orders are handled by phone or email.
