About Bbci
The Berlin Brain-Computer Interface (BBCI) is a pioneering research initiative dedicated to bridging the gap between human cognitive processes and machine interaction. Focusing on the development of innovative Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technologies, the BBCI leverages electroencephalogram (EEG) data to capture brain activity and translate it into actionable commands for electronic devices. This groundbreaking technology enables users, particularly those with movement impairments such as amyotrophia or quadriplegia, to control devices with their thoughts, enhancing their autonomy and quality of life.
Collaborating with top research institutions, including Technische Universität Berlin and Charité - University Medicine Berlin, the BBCI brings together experts in machine learning and neurotechnology to advance EEG-driven systems. Supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the project not only aims to develop assistive tools but also to explore applications in computer-aided work environments. Through its efforts, the BBCI is set to revolutionize human-computer interaction, making technology more accessible for everyone.
