As a facility of the Birmingham Park & Recreation Board, Birmingham Botanical Gardens is the result of a public/private partnership between the City of Birmingham and the nonprofit Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens. This mission-driven membership organization ensures the ongoing stewardship and enhancement of the Gardens through fundraising efforts, educational programs, and outreach.
