BB Specimen Rods

BB SpecimenRods is a small rod-making workshop based in the central Netherlands, producing handcrafted fishing equipment under the BB name. The company emphasizes personal service: each rod is handed over only when the customer is completely satisfied. Most of its rod blanks are based on the workshop’s own designs, and every completed rod is carefully checked for quality, finish, and performance. BB describes its equipment as hand-built, durable gear intended to provide reliability during time on the water.

Its range covers several fishing styles, including carp, predator, specimen, barbel, float, and centrepin fishing. Named rod models include the Lucky Strike, Flexor, Baton, Retrofibre, Floatrod, BBarbel Specialist, Specimist, Pike Raw, Percaflex, and Flinter. The selection also includes carp landing nets and other nets. The workshop builds custom rods, examples of which are featured in the company’s photo gallery. Customers can contact BB SpecimenRods with questions about its rods or arrange a visit to the workshop. The brand’s focus is on skilled craftsmanship, quality control, and attentive customer service.
