The BC Civil Liberties Association (BCCLA) is Canada's oldest and most active civil liberties and human rights group. Established in 1962, our organization has been at the forefront of promoting and defending civil liberties and human rights through litigation, law reform, public engagement, and education. With a commitment to upholding the inherent dignity of all individuals, the BCCLA focuses on the relationship between people and the state, advocating for the protection and extension of civil liberties and human rights in British Columbia and Canada.
