Brian Chew

Brian Chew is an independent software engineering and AI-building brand led by Singapore-based engineer Brian Chew, who works at Assurity Trusted Solutions under GovTech. His work spans software development, generative AI, cloud engineering and DevOps, informed by experience at GovTech, KPMG, Accenture, Fidor Solutions and Accommodate.

Brian creates practical software products and open-source tools. Projects include LetterKey, which helps older adults understand official letters and messages in six languages while redacting personal information; Fireclaw, a command-line tool for running AI agents in isolated micro virtual machines; and NotchShot, a local-only macOS app for capturing screenshots and screen context for AI conversations. He also builds agent plugins, community event tools and interactive web experiences.

Alongside product development, Brian brings builders together in Singapore through meetups, build nights, workshops and talks on AI. His community work includes hackathons, ambassador programs and teaching at Singapore Management University.
