Interior Design Group (IDG), established in 1994 and based in Nanaimo, British Columbia, provides interior design services for residential, commercial, healthcare, and hospitality projects. The firm guides clients from initial concepts through project completion, combining design expertise with practical product sourcing and purchasing support. Its resource centre can locate the products needed for a project, and IDG can act as a purchasing agent. The team works across a range of design styles, with the aim of creating spaces that feel distinctive and memorable.
IDG’s portfolio includes projects such as The Lookout, a renovated home on a 30-acre property overlooking Maple Bay, as well as Ocean Grace Dental and Fern + Cedar Brewing Company. The Lookout project blends West Coast tradition with a warm transitional aesthetic, incorporating refreshed timber ceilings, a rock fireplace, oak-grey flooring, and a central quartz-topped island. Through its portfolio and services, IDG serves clients seeking considered design for a variety of settings, from private homes to healthcare and hospitality spaces.
