The Bay City ISD Education Foundation is a community-focused organization dedicated to strengthening education for students and teachers in the Bay City Independent School District. Its mission is to create opportunities for educational excellence, encourage innovation in teaching, and work with the community to improve the quality of education for all students.

The Foundation supports this mission through programs that provide practical resources and opportunities across the district. Teacher grants help educators bring innovative ideas and learning experiences into their classrooms, while scholarships assist students as they pursue their educational goals. The organization also supports academic enrichment and personal growth through other programs and initiatives.

Community involvement is central to the Foundation’s work. It invites people to donate, volunteer, attend fundraising events, and stay connected through its newsletter and updates. Signature activities include the Great Steak Cook-Off, along with an alumni brick fundraiser and Blackcat Threads and More. By bringing supporters together and directing resources toward students, teachers, and campuses, the Foundation aims to help learners prepare for college, careers, and a brighter future.
