The Baltimore Catholic League (BCL) is a boys’ high school basketball conference comprising schools in the Baltimore area. Playing continuously since the 1971–72 season, it is recognized as one of the premier conferences in the country. The league supports competitive basketball and preserves the history and achievements of its member schools through extensive records, awards, media coverage, and historical resources.
The BCL publishes regular-season schedules, standings and records, recognizes individual and team accomplishments through annual awards and All-BCL selections, and organizes its postseason tournament. Its website also features tournament programs and media guides, championship histories, coaching records, and information about the league’s Hall of Fame. Additional resources document Baltimore Catholic high school basketball before the league’s formation, its chronology, anniversary teams, and connections to other athletic associations and the NBA.
For the 2025–26 season, St. Frances was the regular-season champion and won the BCL tournament, defeating Mount Carmel in the championship game.
